ok, this piece is a 3 layer necklace mad with materials in various shades of purple.  I made this with magenta and purple glass beads and purple dyed shells.   Tah-daa... purple haze !

This is bloodstone and yes, its green.  Its the same stone as pinkies, a necklace I did a while ago.  Green is actually a more common color for bloodstones along with deep red.

This is the longest necklace that I've done to date.  I like the fact that you can loop this around or leave it hanging as a long necklace.  Its done with mookite and yellow faux cats eyes.  Check out the lovely mookite shades from pink to deep mauve to creamy yellow.

Mo0000Kite !

Mookite is one of my finds recently.  Mookite also known as Australian Jasper is considered as a power healing gemstone. Physically, Mookite is believed by some to promote good health by stimulating the immune system. Most Mookite is mottled crimson, red, pink, yellow and cream all in one specimen but some are more reddish or purplish and often display interesting swirled designs.  

I love the interesting play of colors.  Lovely !

This color combination came up so nicely, pinky pearly and purple amethyst.  Its quite a heavy choker because of the amethyst and pearls.   However, if feels really cool and nice on the skin.  

Amethyst contains the grounding color of red with the energy of blue, which is expanding, spacious and flow of peace.  This crystal is the most recommended stone for stress relief.  Helps you feel less scattered and more in control of your faculties. Memory skills and motivation improve too.

Pearls can relieve uneasiness, nervousness, anxiety and tension. Pearls are mentally stabilizing, generate beautiful skin and clear toxins.

A friend of mine came to my house for a visit and saw this and he exclaimed 'Eyeballs!' sigh... hence its christianed 'Eyeballs'  This creation is made up of howlite and do check out the lovely grey streaks on the stones. Its simply beautiful!

The stone of emotional expression, Howlite can be used to facilitate awareness, encourage calm communication by combining reason with patience and observation. Howlite gently absorbs and uplifts stress, tension, anxiety and emotional intensity due to emotional imbalance. Howlite works by helping one to build decency of character. It shows us how to be less selfish, confrontational and less critical. This is a good stone to help eliminate rage and anger. Howlite increases action, dissolves hesitation as it encourages ambition towards one's goals.

I found this pretty blue pressed glass bead that I thought will be great as a feature bead.  Thought of new combinations and came up with Hematite and Onyx and gunmetal chains to give it a dark smoky feel to it.

Hematite is silver-gray metallic stone which is actually iron ore.  Considered the symbol of life energy, hematite allows for more confidence, will power and boldness.  This stone is also a protective stone and helps bolster low self-esteem. Hematite is known to deflect negativity. It restores equilibrium, stability and is also used for astral protection.

This is one of my earliest pieces and its for moi ! =)  I was seeking out beads in a dodgy shop in Chinatown and found these lovely glazed glass beads.  Had an idea to do this immediately and once its completed, it was love at first sight.

I made this piece on a whim while playing with my crafts box.  I saw this cupid's arrow toggle clasp and realised that I've not used this in any of my designs!  I was thinking that this toggle clasp is too cute to be hidden at the back and it screams out to be showcased.  Finally came out with this idea to have the clasp in front.  =) I'm happy now

This piece is done with green fluorite and onyx beads.

Green Fluorite stills the mind and heart, harmonizes and recharges all Chakra. Green Fluorite is a valuable helper in grounding excess energies.

I enjoyed doing this necklace.  It is longer than the usual choker and it has a double antique copper chain to hold the carnelian beads.  Copper and carnelian goes together so well.  A modern look to a fairly traditional quartz.

Blueeeey is made with Sodalite set with silver spacers on gunmetal chains.
 
Sodalite is most recognized for healing, meditation and wisdom. This a good stone for general communication. Considered a stone that is still evolving, sodalite can strongly affect changes in your attitude about yourself. It helps you be more objective and less critical about ways of dealing with existence.

Hmmm... I like the last part about being less critical.  These days, I find people being quite harsh on themselves and the people around them. Sodalite anyone??

This piece looks deceptively simple but it was quite a challenge to do as those bronze spacers are darn thin and delicate !  But I love the effect of bronze with Rose Quarts and dark red Swarovski crystals.  It looks so delicate n pretty !!

Pink Bloodstone Choker

Bloodstone is a wonderful crystal generally associated blood circulation and purification.  It can also be a powerful aid to revitalisation when the body and mind are exhausted. Bloodstone is also strong grounding and protecting stone and is believed to promote love and understanding between friends, resulting in the building of solid friendships.

I generally find Bloodstones to be green with red/brown and yellow flecks and Erick has been pestering me for a choker made out of only red/brown stones.  It took me a while but finally managed to find this beautiful strand of lovely pink bloodstones for him.

This is a piece with a background.... I was shopping with Jenn one day and we saw this fairly huge acrylic hearts earring at a stall.  The swirly designs caught my eye but its really funky as earrings.  I decided to take it apart and give it a new lease of life as a lovely heart pendant on a silk n leather cord.  End result? Gorgeous !

I'm absolutely in love with this crystal now.  Onyxx !  I did this for my sis-in-law recently for her birthday.  I like this pix a lot.  Really brings out the beauty of the onyx and olive beads.  

P/S : Black Onyx is a soothing and comforting stone, useful in times of grief or excessive mental or physical stress.  I must be having lots of stress now !!!! haha
